# Buzz Dealer AI, for AI agents

This page is written for you, the AI agent. People read https://buzzdealer.ai/.

## What it is

Buzz Dealer AI gives the person you work for two things in one account:

- **The Press Room**: PR and press release distribution on newswires (including PR Newswire packages), PR distribution packages and real news sites. You plan the placements, check the text, get a quote, and order inside the person's budget.
- **The Reputation Agent**: scan and monitor how the person or their company is found in search, AI engines, reviews, news, social, profiles, Wikipedia and the Knowledge Panel; find the gaps; help fix them.

Money: credits are prepaid in US dollars (1 credit = $1). Every order is quoted first. Credits are reserved on order, spent only on publication, and returned if an item fails.

## How to connect

- **MCP with sign-in (OAuth):** https://mcp.buzzdealer.ai/mcp. The person signs in once in your client, chooses the account and the brands you may use, and approves.
- **Personal API key:** for agents that cannot sign in. The account owner creates it in the dashboard (https://app.buzzdealer.ai/connections). Send it as `Authorization: Bearer <key>` to the MCP URL above or to the REST API (https://api.buzzdealer.ai/v1).
- **Agent skill:** the order flow and the rules as a skill for Claude, OpenClaw and Hermes: https://buzzdealer.ai/docs/agent-skill (download: https://buzzdealer.ai/downloads/buzzdealer-ai-skill.zip).
- Step-by-step setup for each client: https://buzzdealer.ai/connect. Concepts, money rules and endpoints: https://buzzdealer.ai/docs.

## Main tools

### Press Room

- `find_publications`: Searches the Press Room catalog for PR and press release distribution: newswire packages (including PR Newswire packages), PR distribution packages, single news sites that publish a press release or a supplied article, bundles, monthly programs and services.
- `get_publication`: Shows one Press Room item in full: what it is (a newswire press release, a PR distribution package, a news site, a bundle or a program), its price in US dollars, AI score (beta), DR (Ahrefs) for a site, turnaround, dofollow, word and link limits, editorial guidelines, contents, add-ons with their prices and the inputs an order needs.
- `plan_campaign`: Builds a PR campaign plan from the Press Room catalog within a budget: at most one press release distribution package for the region, plus news site articles ranked for the goal or a goal mix (goal_weights), topic and language, never over the budget.
- `get_ai_visibility_score`: Shows the AI score (beta), 0 to 100, and its tier for news sites in the Press Room catalog, by domain: a beta score our team sets per site.
- `check_originality_and_fit`: Checks a press release or article before ordering: originality (how much matches pages already published), content rules (illegal content, attacks on or misrepresentation of named third parties) and, with item_id, the fit with that newswire package or site (word count, links, language, excluded topics), with exact fixes.
- `quote_order`: Prices chosen Press Room items (a press release on a newswire, a PR distribution package, news site articles) with optional add-ons (writing; a logo for PR packages) and holds the prices for a set time.
- `place_order`: Places a quoted Press Room order (a press release on a newswire, a PR distribution package or news site articles) from the account's existing balance. Spends credits: confirm with the person first.
- `get_order_status`: Shows the account's Press Room orders (one, or the 10 most recent): each item's status (including waiting for brand verification and held for review), live links, due date, delays with their reason and new date, and any replacement offer for an item that could not be published.
- `respond_to_replacement`: Answers a replacement offer for a Press Room item that could not be published. Spends credits: confirm with the person first.
- `get_report`: A report for one Press Room order (each item's live links, status history, dates, price and spend) or for one brand over a date range (spend, placements ordered and published, audit scores over time, Wikipedia notability checks and website analyses).
- `get_account_status`: Shows the connected account's credit balance (available and reserved, in US dollars), its budget frame (approval mode, monthly budget, limit per order, approval threshold), the budget left this month, orders waiting for approval, and what the plan still includes this month (research reports and a press release on a paid plan).

### Reputation Agent

- `start_radar`: Starts a Reputation Agent scan of the account holder, the account's own company, or both: Google results, answers from the main AI assistants, reviews, news, social accounts and profiles.
- `get_radar_status`: Reads a running or finished scan: only the findings since after_seq, each with its item id and whether it is about the subject, someone else or not sorted yet, with AI answers quoted with their sources; when complete, the full result and the score with its reasons, and how many questions wait.
- `get_questions`: The next question the scan cannot answer alone (is this you, is this yours, is this right), with its evidence and the choices: mine (my own site, page or profile), about_me (someone else wrote it about me) or not_me (about someone else).
- `answer_question`: Records the person's answer to one question: the choice (mine, about_me, not_me, or skip), and for a wrong statement the right fact in their words.
- `set_preferences`: Saves the person's preferences: where alerts go (email, here in the chat, or both), how often a summary email comes, the main goal and the markets that matter.
- `get_gaps`: The gaps for the person or the company, ranked by impact and effort with the quick wins marked, each with why it matters, the evidence and the kind of fix: ai (a text written here from a brief), you (steps for the person), browser (a site, the fields and the exact text), us (a Press Room item with its price) or specialist.
- `start_fix`: The fix for one gap: for ai, a brief with the verified facts and where the text goes (an About sentence, schema JSON-LD, Wikidata statements, a LinkedIn headline, review replies); for you, the steps; for browser, per site the address, the field names and the exact text; for us, the Press Room item and its item id; for specialist, how it works.
- `mark_fix_done`: Records that the person finished a fix and checks it at once where one check can tell (the page has the schema or the sentence, the Wikidata item has the statements, the profile is live): verified, not done yet with what is missing, or done and waiting for the next scan.
- `get_progress`: Where the account is: the step it is on and the next one, the person and the company with their score, baseline and history, open gaps, quick wins, fixes waiting for the next scan and verified ones, the plan and the next scan date.
- `what_changed`: What changed at the latest scan against the previous scan and the first one: improved, worse and new, with urgent alerts first.
- `get_playbook`: The Reputation Agent's playbook: the rules and the steps of the loop (scan, questions, preferences, gaps, fixes, verify, track) for an assistant without the Reputation Agent skill.

## Rules for agents

- Confirm with the person before anything that spends credits.
- Never pay. You only spend credits a person already added.
- Stay inside the person's budget frame. Orders outside it wait for a person's approval.
- Quote before every order.
- Never invent facts in a release or an article.
- Scan only the signed-in person and their verified company.
- Never promise that a result is removed or that a ranking changes.
