PR writing skill
A free skill for Claude that writes press releases and sponsored articles written to pass our checks, then checks and orders them through our connector.
What it does
- Writes a press release for distribution by a wire, or a sponsored article or press release article for one site from our catalog.
- Asks you for the facts it needs (company, news, date, quote, contact, links) and never makes them up.
- Follows the rules our checks apply: the site's word and link limits and language (from get_publication), originality, and our content rules (nothing illegal, no attacks on or misrepresentation of named people or companies).
- Labels sponsored content as paid content and leaves the site's own label in place.
- Runs the free check (check_originality_and_fit), then orders with quote_order and place_order after you agree to the text and the price.
It contains a checklist and two short worked examples about a fictional company.
Install it in Claude
- Skills are available on the Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans.
- In Settings, Capabilities, turn on "Code execution and file creation" (on Team and Enterprise plans an owner does this in the organization settings).
- Open Customize, then Skills, and add the downloaded zip as a custom skill. Turn it on.
- Connect the Buzz Dealer AI connector (https://mcp.buzzdealer.ai/mcp) if you have not yet: see Connect.
- Ask Claude, for example: "Write a press release about our new feature and publish it with Buzz Dealer AI."
In Claude Code
Unzip it into ~/.claude/skills/ for all your projects, or into .claude/skills/ in one project. The folder is buzzdealer-pr-writing, with SKILL.md inside.
Good to know
- The skill is free. Orders it places use your prepaid credits, within the budget frame you set; agents never pay.
- The free check is free up to a monthly limit per account.
